Mr. Tim Campbell is the President of the Plano School District Board of Education. He will serve a four-year term until April 2015.  Mr. Campbell is co-owner/vice president of Lite Construction and is the president of the Plano Youth Tackle Football program.

Mrs. Karen DeBolt is the Vice President of the Board and was appointed to the Board of Education in 1999, and has been elected three times, most recently to serve until 2015.  Mrs. DeBolt is a cardiac nurse at Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora.

Mr. Paul Heller was appointed to the Board to fill a vacant seat in November 2006 and served a two-year term until April 2009. He ran and was elected to serve until 2013 and was recently re-elected to serve until 2017.  Mr. Heller is Director of Customer Service at Plano Molding Company in Plano.

Mrs. Estela Martinez was appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Board in September 2008 and ran and was elected to serve a full term which ended in April 2013.  She was just re-elected to serve until 2017. Mrs. Martinez is the executive assistant to the vice president of sales and operations at a local firm.

Mr. Don Moody was appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Board in 2001, and was elected three times, most recently to serve a full term which will expire in April 2015.  Mr. Moody is a Senior Designer/Engineer at HPD in Plainfield.

Mrs. Kim Velazquez was was appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Board of Education in September 2010 and was recently re-elected to serve a four-year term until 2015.  Mrs. Velazquez is a Program Director for Huntington Learning Centers.

Mr. Jim Ward was just elected to the Board of Education and will serve until April 2017. Mr. Ward is a National Account Designer for International Paper in Aurora and is the President of Plano Youth Athletic Association.

Board members are elected to staggered four-year terms.  As public servants, they spend many volunteer hours on school business.

All meetings are at 6 PM (unless otherwise noted on the agenda) in the Plano Community Unit School District No. 88 Board Room located in the Administration Office at 800 South Hale Street in Plano.
